mailboxalert 0.14

Just uploaded a new version of Mailbox Alert. It should be appearing in an addons.mozilla.org near you soonish (once it’s been reviewed). New option in ‘global preferences’, open the message in existing window (and raise it) Alert message window is immediately closed after it is clicked Added a global ‘mute’ selection (in the tools menu) An earlier release lost a lot of translations, these have been re-added, though they are not complete yet (so some english may still occur) If your fix or feature did not get in, sorry, better luck next time :)

dnssec test

I shouted my scripts back into working state, and my DNSSEC and NSEC3 test trees are now back online. Only temporarily at this location, I am talking to people about getting this into a less server-on-my-shelf-at-home location.

moving

Moving services around servers, so if anything weird happens. Try again later. If weirdness still occurs, please let me know, thanks :)

The Wiki Trap

The wiki trap Or: “Yo Dawg, I put a wiki in your wiki, so you can point to the wiki that points to your wiki.” A lot of projects use a wiki as a central repository for information about the project, which can be a blessing or a curse. I’ll refrain from naming the specific project and wiki, but condensed, I recently had a discussion that went a bit like this:

mailboxalert 0.13.3

Updated Mailbox Alert to support Thunderbird 3.1 (and SeaMonkey 2.0, though that hasn’t been fully tested, but should work just fine) No other changes in this release. Changelog Direct download

HTC Desire disable Sense

##Disabling Sense on the HTC Desire## I have been playing around with my HTC Desire today, and wanted to see what it was like without the Sense interface. If found several small tutorials online on how to disable (en re-enable!) it, which contained about the same steps, differed a little bit on how extensive those steps were described, and were all completely similar in that none of them actually worked.
